Truman to Governor Mel Carnahan, our Party has played a prominent role in supporting common sense approaches to governing that advocate for Missouri’s working families and keeping our government accountable.

Democrats understand that every person deserves the opportunity to succeed when they work hard and play by the rules. We believe that vital tools like quality education, access to healthcare, civil rights and a responsible budget are the key ingredients to good governance and greater opportunity for all.
